"I just found your website about CCW permits in PA for non-residents, and
have an update.  I obtained mine in Bedford County in August 1999 with no
hassle at all.  I had researched the application process in advance, and
simply walked in with my VA CCW permit and a photo for the ID.  I filled
out the application, they ran the instant background check, took my $20,
and gave me my permit, even plastic laminated it.  The whole process took
only about 30 to 45 minutes.  It was easier and less expensive than getting
