I received the following card from the Butler County Sheriff's Office:

"To obtain a Concealed Weapon Permit in Butler County, PA, you will need to
stop into our office and fill out an application.  We will need to see your
current license to carry and drivers license.  There is a $19.00 fee.  We
will talk with you about the rules of carrying, have you sign a permit, and
mail the permit to you once our background check is completed.  Thank you."
